Alfa Romeo enthusiasts in San Marino
From the medieval village of San Leo to the oldest Republic of San Marino 118 crews from all over Italy met on Sunday 26 September to share their passion for the Arese brand in an event promoted by the Alfa Romeo Romagna Club in collaboration with the Automobile Club of San Marino. Particularly interesting are the seven colorful examples of Montreals which, alongside the Giulietta Spiders, Duettos “Osso di Seppia”, Giulias, GT Juniors, Alfettas, the inevitable Alfa 75s, and also with youngtimer and instant classics such as 156 GTAs and 4Cs, animated the streets of Romagna with a long and neat parade.
The organizers are remarkably satisfied: the words of Raffaele Petrosillo and Davide Battistini do not hide the emotion for being able to organize such an important event in terms of numbers and quality, also thanks to the official participation of other single-brand clubs such as Alfisti del Vercellese and the CinemAlfa Association, with crews from Piedmont, Lombardy and even Calabria. “The idea – says Davide Battistini, tireless contact person for the San Marino area – is to resume this appointment every two years, certain that it is an appreciated initiative with ample opportunity for further growth”.
