Le Inglesine, with Shakespeare and Palladio in the Vicenza region

Le Inglesine is a gathering of the Historic Club Schio reserved for English-made cars and motorcycles. The fifth edition took place in the province of Vicenza on Sunday 8 May between crews in British outfits, the castle of Juliet of Montecchio Maggiore and the reference to the connected tragedy of Shakespeare. Again, the 70th anniversary of the Jaguar and the 70th of the Bentley Continental Coupé, which coincide with no less than the seventy years since the beginning of the reign of Queen Elizabeth. And that’s not all: on the subject of British four-wheeled birthdays, three Spiders were remembered at the event, which blow out 60 candles this year: Lotus Elan, MG B and Triumph Spitfire. The path? Panoramic and secret, indicated in the road book and considered as proof. In fact, Villa Godi Maliverni in Lugo di Vicenza, by the architect Andrea Palladio, was to be reached in an ideal time.
