Maserati Classiche launches its Certification of Authenticity programme

For over twenty years old examples, it is now possible to obtain certification of authenticity from the Heritage of the Trident

Over 300 checks by experts, compared with the documents of the historical archive. This is how the scrupulous process of certification of Maserati Classiche authenticity, which has just been inaugurated, takes place. The Historical Department of the Trident, which also offers an assistance service to customers and collectors of the brand, has recently issued the first certificate of authenticity to a 1969 Mistral 3700 with Auteuil silver livery. The certification procedure is reserved for Maserati cars more than twenty years old, in addition to special series, including those more recent such as the MC12 or the Quattroporte limited series. The request for Maserati certification of authenticity can be booked on the Maserati Classiche website (https://www.maserati.com/international/en/ownership/maserati-heritage/maserati-classiche). The program, which is run by a committee of experts, also offers a maintenance service for minor repairs and routine maintenance carried out internally, as well as an on demand car detailing. There is also a support plan for the conservation and restoration of parts conforming to the originals. The next step will be spare parts management and restoration assistance, scheduled for 2022. Among the primary tasks of Maserati Classiche there is in fact the creation of spare parts no longer available on the market, following the indications of the original drawings, using the technologies available for today and improving the functionality of the details without altering their aesthetic appearance.
