“Sulle Strade della Pugliesità DOC” is now included in the Circuito Tricolore Asi program
Aste e Bilancieri Automotoclub City of Bitonto (Bari), whose 20th anniversary is celebrated this year, enters fully with Sulle Strade della Pugliesità DOC in the prestigious Circuito Tricolore Asi, of the Automotoclub Storico Italiano. The Circuito is a rich calendar of events from north to south of the Peninsula that lasts all year round. Sulle Strade della Pugliesità DOC was created to raise awareness of the beauties, history and culture of the splendid Puglia region between land and sea. As its poster says: “Among castles, villages and ancient masserie (typical old farms of the area)” and will take place from June 2nd to 5th.
Now in its 20th edition, it has become an awaited tradition for many enthusiasts, having registered in previous years the participation of over 60 crews from all over Italy. Among which there were exceptional guests such as the singer Albano Carrisi and the Tv journalist Francesca Grimaldi, who is passionate about historic vehicles. Sulle Strade della Pugliesità DOC is a great event divided into 4 days reserved for pre-war vintage cars and those of particular historical interest, built by 1975.
The itinerary allows you to get to know unique places in the world such as Alberobello with its characteristic Trulli, the blue sea of Monopoli, the soft hills of Rutigliano, famous for its terracotta whistles, and Grottaglie with its Museum of Ceramics. The event has the distinction of not being “just” a great gathering in one of the most touristic regions of Italy… but it personally involves each participant in the centuries-old origins of the local tradition. Thanks above all to the full immersion with the traditional and very original Peasant Feast. An event within an event that takes shape in a real setting, that of an authentic peasant village, with the music and dances of the folkloristic group Tarantafil. With participants in strictly farmer costume from their region. And, between a tarantella and a quadrille, the meeting ends in full joy with a nice: “Dinner’s ready!” with the most typical and rich Apulian culinary tradition. The President of the Club, Leonardo Greco, declared: “We want to party, want Taranta, here is our slogan for 2022!”.
